Getting a Kitten from Magnoliachat
1. Contact me by phone or email.
It is easier to reach me by email most of the time, as I work full time and am in meetings for most of the day many times. If you call, please leave a message and I will get back to you. If you email, I can usually reply very quickly with my Blackberry or Laptop.

2. I will ask you to fill out an application. The application is not binding and does not commit you to buying a kitten. It is a way that I see if I have a kitten that fits your needs and helps me to keep up with those that have made inquiries. We can talk about the price of the kitten at this point, as well.
3. If we both agree that I have a kitten or kittens that will be a good fit for your family, I will ask for a deposit (usually $200). This officially puts the kitten on hold for you. If I do not have anything at the time for you, I will give you the choice of being placed on a waiting list (this does not require a deposit and is not a commitment on your part) or I can direct you to some reputable breeders that I know that may have something available for you.
4. If you get a kitten from me, I will send you a contract. This contains the health guarantee and protects you and me. Note: You can request a copy of the contract at any time.
5. We work out details of getting the kitten to you. If you are close enough to drive here, there is no charge. Also, if you are within 4 hours of here, I can meet you half way for no cost.
6. If the kitten requires shipment, the buyer pays that cost. At Magnoliachat, we have become very creative in getting kittens to buyers that reduce that cost. · Uship – has reputable transporters that can go door to door for sometimes cheaper than shipping by plane. · Sometimes Redeye flights by the buyer can be cheaper than just shipping the kitten to you – you are allowed to carry the kitten on the plane by your side (by prior arrangement) and I can meet you at the airport. · Sometimes there are cat shows in my area that have reputable breeders/showers that may live close to you. If it is possible, I can try to make an arrangement for you by them transporting at a lower cost than by air flight. · I know two Air Flight Attendants that transport on their off hours. Sometimes this is cheaper. They can fly free and just charge you a fee for the transport. This way, the kitten is with these two trusted individuals for the whole flight and meet you at the airport with the kitten. · Last resort is shipping unattended by air flight. I will do this, but always as a last resort. I believe it is stressful for the kitten to go into cargo and be by itself for a whole flight. Prices: I do not like to put prices on the Internet. These are pure bred animals that can be costly. I have been known to make deals for the right home, though. I want what is best for the kitten and the new family.
